Resale marketplaces
Resale marketplaces connect people selling sneakers with buyers, usually after a shoe has sold out at the brand. Most say they check pairs before they reach the buyer, and each describes its own process on its website: some inspect every pair at their own centres, some combine inspection with seller rules, and some work as consignment shops that hold the stock themselves. Fees, payouts, shipping and returns differ between platforms and between countries, and they change often, so this page does not list them — the links below go to each platform's own explanation.
Official release apps and calendars
Limited releases are often sold through the brands' own apps or retailers' launch calendars, sometimes by draw rather than first come, first served. The brand or shop sets the rules for each release: who can enter, when the draw closes and how winners are chosen. The release apps listed here are the brands' and retailers' own; the links go to their calendars and help pages.
Before you buy on a resale platform
- Read the platform's own pages on how it checks items and what happens if a problem is found.
- Check the size system on the listing. Many listings use US sizes, and men's and women's US sizes are different scales.
- Use the size converter or the brand's size chart on this site to translate the size you wear into the size listed.
- Check the total price including delivery, duties and fees for your country on the platform itself.
- Look at the brand's official site and its country shops first — a shoe that looks sold out in one country may still be on sale in another.
How this list is made
Each description, market and authentication note comes from the platform's own website or app listing, checked on the date shown. Sizelane is independent: it has no affiliation with these platforms, does not rank them and does not say whether one is better than another.
Questions
What is the difference between a resale marketplace and a release app?
A release app or calendar is where a brand or retailer sells new pairs at release, often by draw. A resale marketplace is where people sell pairs afterwards, usually at prices set by sellers and buyers.
How do resale platforms check sneakers?
Each platform describes its own process on its website, and the summary on this page links to it. Processes differ between platforms and can change.
Which size system do resale listings use?
Many listings show US sizes, often men's. Check the listing and convert your size with the brand's chart before you buy.
Does Sizelane recommend a platform?
No. The site is independent and only describes each platform in its own terms with links to its own pages.
Are fees and prices listed here?
No. They differ by country and change often; each platform shows them on its own site.
