What we could not verify
- Columbia's US size chart did not open for checking on 2026-10-24, so the charts come from Columbia's official Australian store (run by a local distributor). US sizing may differ.
- No kids' shoe chart was found on the Australian store.
- The printable sizing sheet linked from the Australian store is hosted by a retailer, so it was not used.
- Some styles come in wide fits, but the size guide does not define width codes, so no widths are listed.
- No sizing article could be found in Columbia's help centre.
- Columbia's US shoe, sale and rewards pages did not open for checking on 2026-10-24, so the sale and shoe-range links go to the Australian store and no rewards programme is listed.
Questions
Which length does Columbia's size chart list?
Columbia's charts give these lengths — CM: size in cm, given by the brand as foot length. A measured foot length and a size in cm are about 8 mm apart for the same size, so compare your own foot length only with a column on the same scale.
Does the official chart tell me how a Columbia shoe will fit?
Only in part. The chart gives the length each size is meant for; how a particular model fits also depends on its last, width and materials, which the chart does not show. Columbia itself advises: Measure both feet with the heel against a wall, marking the end of the longest toe, and use the larger measurement. On the chart, choose the closest larger measurement to your foot length to find your size.
When should I not compare Columbia sizes with another brand?
When the two charts list different lengths. A measured foot length and a size in cm are about 8 mm apart, and the length of a foot is not the inside length of a shoe, so such a match can be half a size or more off. The converter matches only lengths on the same scale and lists the other brands separately.
When was Columbia's chart last checked?
On 2026-10-24, against Columbia's official size guide linked under each chart. The date changes only when the chart is checked again against the official page or its numbers change, not when this page's layout or wording changes.
