Values kept as printed, including ranges such as '240-245' and '5/5.5'. As printed, the US column is not monotonic (EU 38 = US 5.5 but EU 39 = US 5/5.5, the same values as the men's chart from EU 39 up), so the women's US values look inconsistent on the brand's own page.

What we could not verify

  • The charts come from the size guide on ECCO's global site; the US store's own size guide was not compared.
  • The women's chart on ECCO's global site has US sizes that look inconsistent (see chart notes); they are shown exactly as printed.
  • No width options or other fit advice were found on ECCO's global site.

Questions

Which length does ECCO's size chart list?

ECCO's charts give these lengths — Mondopoint: size in cm, given by the brand as foot length. A measured foot length and a size in cm are about 8 mm apart for the same size, so compare your own foot length only with a column on the same scale.

Does the official chart tell me how a ECCO shoe will fit?

Only in part. The chart gives the length each size is meant for; how a particular model fits also depends on its last, width and materials, which the chart does not show. ECCO itself advises: Measure both feet on paper with the heel against a wall, mark the longest point, and let the longer foot decide the size using the chart.

When should I not compare ECCO sizes with another brand?

When the two charts list different lengths. A measured foot length and a size in cm are about 8 mm apart, and the length of a foot is not the inside length of a shoe, so such a match can be half a size or more off. The converter matches only lengths on the same scale and lists the other brands separately.

When was ECCO's chart last checked?

On 2026-10-24, against ECCO's official size guide linked under each chart. The date changes only when the chart is checked again against the official page or its numbers change, not when this page's layout or wording changes.
