What we could not verify
- The size guide has no advice on widths or on whether Lacoste shoes run large or small.
- The kids' charts list US sizes and foot length only; their 'Lacoste Sizing' row is labelled EU but does not use EU numbers, so no EU size is given for kids.
- lacoste.com is one site with country paths (/us/, /gb/, /fr/ …), so no regional list is given.
- Apps are the US shopping app (developer Lacoste USA Inc. / LACOSTE).
Questions
Which length does Lacoste's size chart list?
Lacoste's charts give these lengths — Men's shoes, Women's shoes: CM: measured foot length; Kids' shoes — New Born, Kids' shoes — Baby, Kids' shoes — Children, Kids' shoes — Teen: Mondopoint: length scale not clear. A measured foot length and a size in cm are about 8 mm apart for the same size, so compare your own foot length only with a column on the same scale.
Does the official chart tell me how a Lacoste shoe will fit?
Only in part. The chart gives the length each size is meant for; how a particular model fits also depends on its last, width and materials, which the chart does not show. Lacoste's size guide does not give general advice on sizing up or down; fit also varies by model and foot shape.
When should I not compare Lacoste sizes with another brand?
When the two charts list different lengths. A measured foot length and a size in cm are about 8 mm apart, and the length of a foot is not the inside length of a shoe, so such a match can be half a size or more off. The converter matches only lengths on the same scale and lists the other brands separately.
When was Lacoste's chart last checked?
On 2026-10-24, against Lacoste's official size guide linked under each chart. The date changes only when the chart is checked again against the official page or its numbers change, not when this page's layout or wording changes.
